SOHO, NY

91 CROSBY STREET

MIXED-USE REDEVELOPMENT

91 Crosby Street is a 22,000 SF mixed-use building located in SoHo's Cast Iron Landmark District that was purchased in partnership with GreenOak Real Estate. The property, also known as 252 Lafayette Street, is a six-story building located between Prince and Spring Streets with ground floor storefronts on both Crosby and Lafayette Streets and apartments above. The building also features a prominantly visible hand-painted outdoor advertising sign on the Lafayette side of the building. Originally constructed in 1898, while the property epitomized the original charm and character of SoHo, the the apartments and infrastructure were in dire need of upgrades.

Javeri Capital managed the redevelopment of this extremely well-located asset into luxury residences and two ground floor retail units. Construction included base building infrastructure replacement and upgrades, recapturing of existing residential lobby for conversion to retail use, combination of the top floors into duplex apartments, and the addition of two roof decks. Javeri Capital worked hand-in-hand with our contractor to coordinate construction around occupied spaces and on a challenging site.
