PRINCIPAL

ATIT JAVERI

Atit is the Founder of Javeri Capital, where he has been responsible for the firm’s strategic direction and day to day operations since inception.  He has supervisory and direct involvement in all of Javeri Capital’s activities, including new investments, capital raising and investor relations, leasing, and property and asset management.  His core passion, however, is the development process, and he takes the leading role in the conception, planning, and execution of all of the firm’s projects.  Under his leadership, Javeri Capital has completed more than $100 million of transactions and redevelopments, including 10 Greene Street, 91 Crosby Street, and 23 Greene Street.

 

Prior to founding Javeri Capital, Atit was Director of Investments for Zamir Equities, a Manhattan based real estate investment and development firm that acquired 2.5 million square feet of Manhattan real estate between 2004 and 2008. While there, Atit aided in the due diligence, financing, acquisition, leasing, and management of nearly $1 billion worth of commercial properties and forged joint-venture partnerships  with luxury lifestyle brands Miraval and The Setai for two of the firm's condominium development projects at 515 East 72nd Street and 40 Broad Street, which totaled over 500 residences and $650 million of sales. Atit was directly involved in other prominent Manhattan transactions such as 44 Wall Street, 587 Wall Street, 80 Broad Street, and 5 Hanover Square.

Atit holds a B.B.A from Emory University and a M.S from New York University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and two young children, in the same neighborhood he was born and raised. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, movies, and sports, especially his beloved Yankees.

DIRECTOR OF INVESTMENTS

RISHI BARAI

Rishi Barai is the Director of Investments at Javeri Capital. His primary responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting potential acquisitions, fundraising and building investor relations, developing capital structure strategies, and managing the firms existing investments.

 

Before joining Javeri Capital, Rishi was working at Morgan Stanley in commercial real estate lending where he was involved in underwriting $3 billion and managing a portfolio of over $5.2 billion. Formerly, he was at Freddie Mac working in special situations debt and began his career as an intern at Cushman and Wakefield. Aside from his corporate experiences, Rishi brings knowledge from managing and growing a real estate portfolio over the years.  

 

He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University. Originally from New Jersey, Rishi has resided in Manhattan for the past 6 years.  In his free time, he enjoys tennis, photography, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
